Under direction of the Pharmacy Systems and Technology Manager, the Systems Support Specialist is primarily responsible for providing first level technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software, and other patient and provider engagement tools. The Systems Support Specialist will respond to queries, isolate problems, and determine proper escalation of issues related to these areas. This position will recognize and differentiate support issues caused solely by user error from those caused by systemic flaws. The Support Specialist will recognize trends in support requests and report their findings to the Systems and Technology Manager. This position will provide direct patient and provider support in order to resolve patient and provider concerns regarding software and engagement tools offered by our company. As time allows, performs all duties of a patient care assistant in order to maintain the user knowledge base this position will require.

How do I make an impact on my team?
- Provide first-level technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and patient engagement tools
- Respond to support tickets and phone calls from patients and users seeking technical help
- Follow up with patients and users to ensure issue has been resolved
- Escalate persisting problems to other support personnel, as needed
- Responsible for answering the inbound calls from patients and doctors' offices
- Responsible for contacting doctors to obtain necessary prescription information to properly fill a prescription
- Responsible for the correct shipment of the specialty pharmacy orders
- Responsible for accurate and appropriate completion of clinical pathway information as instructed within questionnaires
- Responsible for a working knowledge or copay programs, HUB programs, and billing the programs
- The Employee will act in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and with the highest ethical standards that we consistently strive to achieve. Thus, legal and ethical compliance is an essential duty of each employee.
What our team expects from you?
- High School or GED required
- Some college experience preferred
- Certified CPhT preferred
- Minimum two years pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience preferred
- Computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

- Hours/Location: Monday - Friday varying hours between 7:00am-7:00pm CST, Madison WI location, Phoenix AZ location or Remote
