Summary:
Responsible for the manual assembly of blood screening kits according to manufacturing instructions.
Primary responsibilities for role:
● Typically includes competencies of Packaging Technician I position plus:
● Direct interaction with internal customers
● Investigate inventory discrepancies
● Maintain labeling/packaging area and equipment in a clean and functional state
● Assists in manufacturing instructions and procedural updates
● Provides scheduling feedback
Additional Responsibilities:
Follows all safety rules; enters cold/frozen environments; maneuvers pallets and equipment; assists in maintaining inventory accuracy; tracks labor hours for process orders; adheres to target manufacturing deadlines
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good knowledge of ERP system; basic knowledge of GMP requirements; ability to follow oral and written instructions; basic computer knowledge and use of email; basic organizational skills; attention to detail; repetitive standing, walking, bending and lifting; good mathematic skills required; knowledge of manufacturing functionalities; team oriented
Experience:
0-2 years related experience Equivalency
