Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing direction to all bar staff before, during and after events. The Beverage Lead is to oversee all bar operations, the implementation and enforcement of all State and Craft Culinary Concepts alcohol service policies and procedures.

Primary Job Duties:

The Beverage Lead is the key individual in ensuring that all alcoholic beverage sales for the restaurant bar at Will Rogers Memorial Center. The Beverage Lead is optimized by overseeing portable bar set-ups, ensuring alcohol policies are being followed and flawlessly making sure all aspects of inventory procedures are being followed. To be successful in this position the Beverage Lead is responsible for inventory control including inventory, product transfers to and from all bar locations, and reconciliation for all bar products. The Bar Supervisor will work on effectively managing all bar staff, ensuring that the bar is properly set up and operational prior to each event.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid TEAM or TIP certification card
• Must have a valid Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each event worked
• Must have knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes and bar terminology
• Must be discrete and keep all information and details of guests confidential
• Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent
• Must complete all pre-employment forms
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Must be able to work with a group as well as independently
• Preferred knowledge of two-way radios, cash register systems, soda dispensers and beer taps
• Preferred previous supervisory experience in high volume restaurant/bar environment or another stadium/arena

Other Skills/Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis and be on feet for several hours
• Must be able to maneuver through facility in a fast paced, often tightly quartered environment.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
