Residential Concrete Foreman

Position Overview: As the Residential Concrete Foreman, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our residential concrete projects. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team, ensure project efficiency, and maintain our high standards of craftsmanship. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of concrete workers, including laborers, finishers, and equipment operators, to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers and excavators. 
• Plan and organize daily work activities, including task assignments, scheduling, and resource allocation, to meet project deadlines and budgetary requirements.
• Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide the crew in proper formwork installation, concrete pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings with crew members to review project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Monitor job site progress and productivity, addressing any issues or delays that may arise and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and providing training to crew members as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including timekeeping, materials usage, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a concrete foreman or supervisor in the residential construction industry, with a minimum of 5 of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, and finishing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, etc. 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
• Commitment to safety excellence, with a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed.
