Database Analyst

SUMMARY

The Database Analyst will create, develop, maintain, and analyze reports by retrieving data using T-SQL and format using Excel and/or Business Objects (Crystal Reports).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Create, develop and maintain reports for department, executives and company wide use.

·         Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports

·         Provide ad-hoc reporting when needed

·         Provide analysis to support need for new processes and improving established processes

·         Provide analysis of existing reports

·         Communicate report results and analysis to the department managers and executives

·         Data entry / data maintenance

·         Train report users / answer report user questions

·         Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university in a related field; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years experience with SQL Server Enterprise Manager 8.0 or better (Applicants will be given a T-SQL aptitude test)
• 1 year experience with Crystal Reports 9.0 or better
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
•  Advanced level knowledge of Excel (Applicants will be given an Excel aptitude test)
• Detail oriented

• Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with multiple steps

•  Ability to troubleshoot problems and work them to resolution
• Experience working in the automotive industry is a plus
