As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior therapy programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or other behavioral challenges. This role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to improving the lives of those you serve.

Responsibilities: Implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives. Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions with clients in various settings, including home, school, or community settings. Collaborate with other members of the therapy team, including BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients. Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations, including those set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in behavior therapy. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress, discuss treatment plans, and address any concerns or questions. Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, progress reports, and other relevant paperwork in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred. Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral challenges preferred. Strong understanding of behavior principles and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs. Ability to pass background checks and meet other employment requirements as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with the Jewish community and diverse age groups. Familiarity with the implementation of applied behavior analysis in various settings (e.g., schools, homes, community). Experience using technology and software for data collection and analysis (Theralythics, ASANA, Slack)

Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization.
