Membership Manager

The International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) is looking for a Membership Manager to join its team.
Job Summary
The Membership Manager is responsible for managing the backend support team as well as providing a productive and motivating working environment, addressing any issues for internal and external stakeholders with the goal of increasing member satisfaction, loyalty, retention and to meet their expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day functions and support of Membership team
- Implement effective data entry procedures, policies, and standards to enhance internal and external stakeholder satisfaction
- Informing the team of all new information related to products, procedures, and trends
- Assessing support statistics and preparing detailed reports on the findings
- Responsible for interviewing and hiring of new support staff
- Delivering performance evaluations and following the disciplinary process according to company policy
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; and five years related association management and databases preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
