Job Overview:
This role requires strategic planning, stakeholder management, and hands-on recruiting to source, attract, and hire the best talent for the organization's needs. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in talent acquisition, demonstrating a successful track record of hires and the innovation to develop recruiting strategies that adapt to the organization's evolving needs. Responsibilities include managing the full recruitment lifecycle—from identifying staffing requirements to onboarding new hires—and leveraging recruitment expertise to build a strong workforce that aligns with the company's values and business goals. A dynamic and experienced professional, the candidate should excel in both strategic and operational aspects of recruitment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Partners with the hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
- Analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) and trends to improve processes, inform strategies, and report on recruitment effectiveness to senior management.
- Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates across the U.S.
- Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
- Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
- Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding the recruiting process.
- Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
- Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
- Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
