Your New Role: In your capacity as a Residential Construction Production Manager, you will be entrusted with:

• Project Cost Estimation: Conduct detailed project cost estimations, taking into account all facets of residential construction and remodeling, to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Material Procurement Expertise: Source and procure high-quality materials within budget and timeline constraints, optimizing for cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
  Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure project specifications are accurate and comprehensive, facilitating seamless project execution.
  Contract Negotiation: Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, leveraging strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and ensure project profitability.
  Inventory and Procurement Optimization: Monitor material inventory levels and refine procurement processes for maximum efficiency, ensuring timely availability of materials and cost-effectiveness.
  Market Insight: Stay informed of industry trends, material pricing, and emerging technologies to make informed decisions that align with project goals and budget constraints.
  Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure all materials and construction practices meet or exceed safety and quality standards, contributing to the overall integrity and success of projects.
  Financial Reporting and Analysis: Provide comprehensive cost analysis and budget reports to senior management, highlighting opportunities for cost savings and financial optimization.
  Supplier Relationship Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of strong, mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring reliability and quality in procurement.
  Comprehensive Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of residential construction projects, encompassing budget management, team leadership, client communication, quality assurance, risk management, and compliance with all relevant permitting and regulatory standards.

We're Looking For Someone With:

Experience & Background: A minimum of 3-5 years in management within the residential construction arena, supported by at least 10 years of relevant trade experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software is essential. Experience with cloud-based construction management tools, particularly Buildertrend, will be viewed favorably.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must for effective teamwork and client interactions.
Project Management Prowess: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision.
Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational and time management skills are non-negotiable.
Construction Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, architecture, and design principles.
