The Fourth Street Clinic Nursing Supervisor is an exciting new role at our main clinic at 409 West 400 South in downtown Salt Lake City. This role provides direct care to our patients and supervises an amazing triage nursing team. The triage team assists primary care, behavioral health, and many specialty provider staff by triaging patients seeking same-day services, providing individual nursing appointments and group education. You will be part of our nursing team which includes three Triage Nurses, a Pediatric Nurse, a Nurse Educator, and a Nursing Director with over 30 years of combined experience at Fourth Street Clinic. Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise the triage RN staff including schedules, timecards, performance reviews, and daily operations of the triage team.
  • Support patient flow through the clinic by triaging patients accessing same-day services or with scheduled appointments while considering clinic capacity and acute needs.
  • Model, support and encourage a collaborative culture that values mutual respect, cooperative partnerships, continuous learning, trust, and fairness.
  • Identify, develop, and provide educational opportunities for patients and staff.
  • Utilize quality improvement initiatives with nursing and MA staff to improve patient outcomes and achieve optimal health goals.
  • Ensure all assigned staff meet CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines in conjunction with the Clinic Nurse Educator.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Epic EHR preferred.
  • Second language skills, including Spanish.
  • Previous hospital or acute care experience.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah.
  • 2 years of clinical experience, required.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS or able to obtain within 90 days.
