Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Automotive Repair Production Manager to oversee our repair shop operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating the repairs needed of vehicles.   while working with our repair technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, and delivering high-quality repairs and service to our customers. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workflow and scheduling of repair orders to maximize productivity and ensure timely completion.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to repair technicians based on their skills and expertise.
  • Monitor the progress of repair jobs and provide guidance and support to technicians as needed.
  • Estimating parts and labor while working with the technician to ensure jobs are sold with everything needed to complete the job the first time.  
  • Ensure that all repairs are performed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Coordinate with parts suppliers to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts and materials for repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair orders, including labor hours, parts used, and customer information.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the repair shop and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for repair technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in automotive technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive repair
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engine repair, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of technicians.
  • Proficiency in automotive repair software and diagnostic tools.
  • ASE certification or other relevant certifications preferred.
