Supply Clerk

Seeking a qualified individual to provide logistics labor support to maintain all aspects of office supply within the centralized storage rooms among two government locations. The Supply Clerk will be responsible for receiving, distribution, stocking, and inventorying of government office supplies (paper, pens, binders, toner etc.). The Clerk will work independently to ensure inventory levels are maintained and supplies are available for use when needed.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the receipt, distribution, stocking, and inventorying of government supplies.
• Visit twice daily predetermined supply points located within government spaces.
• Maintain supplies within centralized storage rooms for further distribution to designated supply points.
• Ensure supply points are replenished and maintained in accordance with government established types and quantities.
• Ensure supply points are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion, taking corrective action as necessary.
• Inform government personnel on discrepancies within the supply points (depleted, damaged supplies or equipment, negative customer feedback, etc.).
• Deliver supplies not available at supply points to government customers as directed.
• Maintain oversight of dedicated email and/or supply ordering system in order to track and deliver requested supplies to government employees.
• Provide a written Inventory Report to the Operations Manager.
• Regularly recommend changes or updates to the supplies baseline inventory based on observed trends, program knowledge, and requests received.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Experience in restocking of supply inventory, reporting par levels.
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Must possess a valid state driver's license
Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Work with directly with customers with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Shows pride in work, pays close attention to detail, adapt and provide excellent customer service in a changing environment while multitasking.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
Multi-tasking ability, attention to detail, ability to adapt.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry light to medium objects weighing up to 50 pounds
