Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, assists with material requests from production, maintains accurate inventory numbers, and prepares material for shipments assuring all paperwork is correct.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preliminary inspection and transacting of incoming product for shipment (rejecting or accepting).
• Shipping UPS, FedEx, and Truck Freight
• Packaging, labelling, and verification of product ready for shipment.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Working with customers to manage timely shipping information.
• Opportunity to assist in QC inspection of finished goods.
• In a timely manner assist on material requests from production floor to avoid any stops in production.
• Cycle counts.
• Scrapping of nonconforming material.
• Processing RMAs.
• Assist in Inventory discrepancy investigations.
• Required participation in internal training as needed to perform the duties assigned to this role.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
• U.S. Person status required do to export control
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years related experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Forklift certified, or willing to get certified
• Capable of standing and or sitting for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and the management team.
• Must be well organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must thrive in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment
• Ability to verbally communicate, read and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
• Understanding of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Epicor experience preferred
• Available to work periodic mandatory weekends and overtime
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office programs- Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat

The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
