Summary/Objective
The Sales Manager will lead and educate our sales teams at PestNow Montgomery County Branch. As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and overseeing the framework of our sales operations, ensuring the highest levels of education, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This leadership role involves managing a comprehensive training program that starts from the hiring process and continues throughout the career of each team member, covering all aspects of our business, including legal compliance, product knowledge, application, inspection protocols, and customer relations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Training and Education
Participate in the selection process of sales team members.
Oversee the New Hire Training program, which is 40 hours of in-house classroom training and 40+ hours of field training.
Foster continuous learning by providing ongoing education to team members.
Operational Leadership
Collaborate with Branch Managers to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Monitor sales team performance, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
Develop targeted programs to enhance individual and team performance.
Serve as a liaison between Realtors, customers, and branches
Provide guidance on resolving damage claims and disputes.
Quality Control and Safety Compliance
Proactively review service tickets, graphs, and WDI reports to identify liability and safety concerns.
Conduct regular audits of inspections and address customer issues to maintain quality standards.
Strategic Planning and Execution
Plan and execute Realtor education and training visits.
Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Regional Sales Manager on expansion plans and growth strategies.
Resource Planning and Allocation
Assist in forecasting staffing needs for different areas and branches.
Evaluate and report on service capability and potential overreaching.
Identify and communicate staffing needs to address delays and service issues.
Technology and Innovation
Stay informed about competitors' techniques, products, and services.
Monitor industry trends and innovations to enhance operational efficiency.
Financial Management
Analyze service code pricing trends and adjust as needed.
Monitor and adjust individual price settings to prevent underpricing or overpricing.
Track and monitor infestation rates per the WDIR to ensure accurate inspections are being conducted.
Develop strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets.
Monitor all Sales budgets.
Customer Satisfaction
Address customer and Realtor concerns related to the sales process.
Ensure timely and effective delivery of services by monitoring schedules.
Required Experience:
Minimum Qualifications
Eight years of relevant field and office management experience in sales operations
Comprehensive knowledge of pest operations, sales, and mandatory safety standards
Strong leadership skills with a goal-driven personality to foster a successful culture.
Exceptional communication skills for effective team and customer interactions
Ability to coach, motivate, and create a continuous learning environment.
Proficiency in software for tracking and analyzing individual and team production.
Effective problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the home services industry, particularly Pest Control.
