Laboratory Technician

An International Nutritional Supplements company is looking to identify and hire a Laboratory Technician / Sampling Technician to be working within the Quality Assurance / Sampling department.  This position will offer significant cross-training opportunities to help develop your skills, including advancement opportunities to work in a Microbiology or Chemistry Lab!

The Laboratory Technician / Sampling Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Sampling all raw material and packaging components in several warehouses.
• The raw material sampling would include materials that are used in the cosmetic and home care products at the Company as well as materials that are used in the food industry including allergens.
• Sampling packaging components in the warehouse including inspecting the shipment for defective components.
• Logging samples into the QA data system where sampling data is entered.
• Delivering samples to the respective labs including microbiology, chemistry, and packaging.

Requirements:

• Science background or science degree is preferred, but not required.
• Chemistry laboratory experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
