Accounting Clerk

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits seeks an Accounting Clerk who reports directly to the Controller and works with several departments including but not limited to, warehouse, accounting, commercial operations, and pricing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review & sign off on daily receiving batches upon arrival from warehouse
• Maintain Arizona Daily Receiving Log
• Bi-monthly Receiving Log Audit with Resolution
• Number, Audit, Image, File, and Archive Daily Receiving Packets
• Identify discrepancies for receive & breaks vs. claims
• Process below threshold receive and breaks
• Process inventory adjustments
• Process code to code movements and layer adjustments after Staff Accountant validation
• Log samples received into DC warehouse
• Image transfer invoices
• Provide BOL to receivers as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Two years general accounting on-the-job or formal education

Knowledge:

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Skills:

• Accurate data-entry skills
• 10 key by touch.
