Dustrol, Inc., a 100% employee-owned asphalt contractor, is seeking a qualified professional for the role of Safety Coordinator supporting our Central Division based in Towanda, Kansas. The Safety Coordinator, reporting to the Corporate Safety Director, is responsible for ensuring consistency and compliance as it relates to workplace safety. Job Details:

Promote a safety culture for all Kansas Division employees.
Conduct job site safety inspections and report findings to the Corporate Safety Director.
Conduct training at safety meetings, orientations, etc.
Maintain required Federal and State postings.
Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
Maintain records of safety inspections, audits, training, and other activities.

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations to ensure compliance.
Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and guidelines.
2-4 years of experience in construction safety preferred.
Teamwork oriented with good communication skills.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Job Requirements:

Travel will be approximately 30% with overnight stays at 10%-20%.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
