Physician Assistant Orthopedics

Our client with locations in Chicago and surrounding suburbs is seeking a physician assistant to join their expanding orthopedic practice. This is a tremendous opportunity to work alongside a fellowship trained spine surgeon and an existing support team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-assist, inpatient, and outpatient services
- Mix of clinic, OR and hospital responsibilities
- Light call schedule
- Work in the growing field of orthopedic spine surgery
- Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Develop and implement patient management plans
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a physician assistant in orthopedics, neurosurgery (or another surgical specialty) is required
- Exceptional recent graduates will be considered
- IL Physician Assistant License
- Active DEA License
- Ability to build rapport with patients and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
