Emergency Response Officers

Security One, SOI Security - is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee.

We are seeking Armed Security Officers who currently hold a valid Armed Security Guard License.

The individuals interested are required to deploy to areas affected by the hurricane for up to several months. Are you a survivalist? Prior Military, or Law Enforcement? This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills while helping a community of people.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities

Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must currently hold a valid Armed Security Guard License

• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Willing to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time with reasonable accommodations.
• Willing to be exposed to all types of weather such as heat, cold, rain, ect.

Other

• Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the State.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
• Must have a valid Driver's License, no infractions for prior 3 years such as tickets or accidents, no suspended license.
• Must have access to reliable transportation / rental cars may be available.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must not use illegal drugs.

Pay

• $1835 per week includes daily per diem.
