Knight Security Services LLC is a licensed security guard company based in Richmond, Virginia, dedicated to delivering proactive protection and peace of mind. Our highly trained team provides armed and unarmed security guards, K9 patrol units, and private security services tailored to businesses, properties, and high-risk environments. We combine strong field expertise with advanced preventive measures to deter threats before they occur. Industries served include commercial facilities, residential communities, events, and specialized environments requiring elevated security presence.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Armed Security Officer located in Henrico, VA (23229).

The officer will be responsible for:

-Conducting regular patrols of the premises

-Responding promptly to alarms and disturbances

-Enforcing property rules and regulations

-Maintaining safety and security of visitors, employees, and property

-Assisting in emergency response procedures (evacuations/lockdowns)

-Monitoring and reporting suspicious activities

-Documenting incidents and hourly activity reports via mobile app

-A company vehicle is provided when on site.

Schedule

-Saturday — 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

-Sunday — 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

≈ 16 hours per week (≈ 32 hours every two weeks)

This position requires carrying a firearm while on duty.

Qualifications

Required

-DCJS Armed Security Officer/Courier Card with Firearms Endorsement

(Do not apply if you do not have firearms endorsement)

-2+ years proven experience as a Security Officer (preferred but willing to train right candidate)

-Clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from work

-Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations

-Excellent observation skills

-Strong communication and customer service abilities

-Able to complete written reports via smartphone app

Preferred

-Spanish language skills
