CAD Drafter

Job Title: CAD Drafter

Industry: Residential Development

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Responsibilities:

• Create, revise, and manage design and construction documents
• Prepare design review packets, house plans, site plans for model home complexes, and sales office layouts
• AutoCAD Architecture 2018 or higher
• Create detailed plans for buildings and structures, incorporating preliminary design development, feature specification sheets, and relevant data
  • Floor plans, roof plans, elevations, sections, architectural details & electrical plans
• Use Photoshop to generate rendered elevations and color scheme packets as necessary for the design review packets
• Generate the plotting of sold and speculative homes on lots promptly and accurately, adhering to all guidelines outlined by the lot fit analysis, final plat, design review, and municipal regulations
• Gather and compile data necessary to finalize architectural documents, ensuring compliance with municipality code standards
• Create construction sets, Redline sets, and technical reports tailored to individual projects

• Participate in meetings related to design development, design standards, and value engineering

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in drafting, architectural, or structural engineering
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• **Required: AutoCad/PhotoShop experience
• Residential and/or production home building experience is preferred
