LPN - Pediatric Medical Group Home (Night - FT)

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

· Licensed Nurse with current license

· CPR certification

· Minimum 1 year of experience as a pediatric nurse in an acute care facility

· AZ DPS Fingerprinting Clearance Card

· Demonstrates good oral and communication skills

· Works positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff

· Excellent oral and communication skills

Responsibilities/essential functions: The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

· Developing (RN) or assisting in the development (LPN), and implementing patients’ plan of care with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

· Performing nursing assessments

· Administering medication, managing IVs, and providing wound care within the nurse’s scope of practice

· Completing testing and patient care per medical team orders

· Escalating abnormalities to patients’ status to supervisor and healthcare practitioner

· Educating patients and caregivers on health conditions and interventions

· Conducting medical assessments on members

· Supervising home health aide

· Provide nursing care to our Nursing Facility residents including assessment, planning and implementation of nursing interventions, medication administration, prescribed treatments, specimen collection, taking and recording vital signs, assisting with hygiene, and administering enteral nutrition.

· Provide instruction, guidance and assistance to other members of the health care team as well as residents’ families.

· Oversee/conduct IV treatments.

· May act as Charge Nurse.
