Job Description:

Our Electrical Foreman are responsible for team leadership and installation oversight with attention to detail. Preparation, deployment, and management of your crew towards excellent craftsmanship and productivity with great customer care are your core responsibilities.

Job Duties:

• Supervising subcontractors, journeymen, apprentices, material handlers
• Planning and laying out jobs
• Maintaining good working relationships with customers
• Monitoring safety in the field; conducting regular safety meetings
• Completing regular reports and paperwork
• Buy in of  budget for project with project manager and estimator
• Tracking Budget to Actual with  Project Manager weekly
• Responsible for the following reports/schedules:
  • Meaningful Daily Reports
  • 2 Week Look Ahead Schedules
  • Blue Print Productivity Reports/ As Builts
  • Labor Tracing Reports
  • Purchase Order and Material Tracking
  • Job Safety Reports

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as an Electrical Foreman.
• Must have state certified journeyman license in the state of CA.
• Knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of the electrical field.
• Must be skilled with reading, understanding, and analyzing construction drawings.
• Must have willingness to lead a construction team by example while teaching skills and methods to your crew.
• Excellent communications skills with project manager, construction crew, and customers is essential.
• Maintain high-quality control of tools, vehicles, and materials needed for job responsibilities
• Willing to travel and work occasional overtime/ weekend hours

• Must be available to drive for company related purposes as needed or upon request
• Must have a valid California driver license and favorable DMV record

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must have minimal ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, push, and pull as required for light duties of standard office clerical positions.
• Occasional lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Exposure to air-conditioned/heated office environment.
• Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word level.
• Visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing data, operation of office equipment, and determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work.
