Partnered with Midland Care Connection, a non-profit Kansas hospice provider with 45 years of hospice expertise, we are committed to delivering the highest quality of care.

Summary

Community Care Hospice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN (as needed) role. This position allows for flexible day, night, and weekend hours tailored to your schedule. Serving the Hutchinson, Newton, and McPherson areas, this role offers a competitive pay rate of $40 per hour.

Employment Status: PRN - Flexible

Pay: $40/hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date clinical competencies to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers, providing tailored training to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to address comprehensive patient care needs.
• Participate in agency activities, including team meetings, staff education, and other opportunities.
• Serve as the main point of contact with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of patient supplies and medications.
• Foster effective communication with facility providers to uphold and align care plans in line with the hospice philosophy.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
• Valid Kansas Driver's License, automobile liability insurance, and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred:

• One year of professional medical-surgical nursing or hospice experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
