Job Description

Position Title: (Contract) Program Manager (CPM)

Location: Guantanamo Bay (GTMO), Cuba

Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret/SCI

Required Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts

Required Experience: Must have at least six years of experience managing DoD Security Operations projects

Certification: Must have or be able to obtain a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within six months of the contract start date

Time Type: Full time, Exempt

Overview

The CPM is the primary point of contact between the Government and RISA personnel assigned to the task order.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • The CPM is responsible for all phases of contract management to include: work flow, resource management; quality of the program and deliverables, timeliness, risk assessment and program performance.
  • The CPM ensures the performance, completeness, and accuracy of work assigned under the contract to achieve the performance objectives.
  • The CPM manages the project staff, coordinates with the Government COR on contract requirements and concerns.
  • Tracks the progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Demonstrates abilities to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Implements change management routines to assess change requests, makes recommendations, and secures customer approvals. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • Prepares and provides quality contract deliverables to the government on time.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must have at least six years’ experience managing DoD Security Operations projects.
  • Must have experience with Government contract project scheduling, tracking, risk analysis, cost management, personnel management, project performance evaluation, and process improvement. Establish processes and assign appropriate resources to effectively fulfill contract performance requirements.
  • Must have a minimum degree of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts (BS/BA).
  • Must have or be able to obtain a PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within 6 months of contract start date.

Work Environment:

  • Professional Office Environment: Must be able to sit at a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
  • Must be able to communicate regularly via telephone and verbally present information to employees, customers, and outside vendors.

Expected Hours of Work:

  • 40 hours per week based on the customer’s core operating hours.
