We are seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team! You will respond to non-emergency request for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. We strive to hire EMTs who handle the patients with their “Hearts”. EMT’s who put safety and professionalism above all else.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to non-emergency calls and providing basic life support care to patients in need.
• Conducting physical examinations to assess the appropriate course of treatment.
• Gathering patient medical history while maintaining confidentiality of patient rights.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatments provided.
• Communicating with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to provide report on patient status during patient handoffs and transfers.
• Operating and maintaining emergency medical equipment, while taking pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Drive emergency vehicles safely and efficiently to respond to calls.
• Maintains a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), paramedic, or in other related fields.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) used in emergency and non-emergency medical situations.

·       Proficiency in performing patient assessments and providing appropriate care.

·       Able to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions.

Skills Required:

• Valid EMT certification/license in Georgia.
• CPR certification.
• Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Self-motivated.
• Physical stamina to perform job duties, including lifting patients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay:  $18.00 - 22.00 an hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
