Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists in the architecture, design, and implementation of MSSQL Server and other database structures to support technology projects and initiatives
• Works as a key member of the Exenta ERP product team serving as a data resource for all ERP data, administration, development, and engineering needs
• Manages day-to-day Exenta ERP related tasks including EDI development & mapping, Order-to-Cash optimization, inventory control maintenance, warehouse shipment & carton maintenance, and label & invoice design/maintenance
• Manages all reporting, stored procedures, and scheduling functions that support core Exenta ERP workflows
• Designs ETL/ELT patterns for efficient data integration, change data capture, implementation, and maintenance
• Drives integration of back end to front-end via database design and implementation to support application development
• Develops and maintains databases & file structures to support digital transformation, business priorities, and technology initiatives
• Consults with infrastructure, application development, and business intelligence teams to support transactional and OLAP database needs
• Collaborates with technology and business teams to ensure database architecture, performance, and reporting needs meet business goals & objectives

Skills and Competencies

• Expert level hands-on experience in data modeling, database performance tuning, data management, data architecture, data maintenance, data analytics, data flow optimization, data reporting, data science, and ETL processing
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and use of Relational Keys, Select Queries, Joins, Data Modelling, Fact and Dimension Table Types, Different Schemas, DDL, DML
• Strong customer service and presentation skills being able to interact with customers and key business partners
• Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrable business acumen and excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and business focused skills
• Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
• Superior time management and multi-tasking skills

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field; and/or equivalent combination of related experience and/or training
• 5+ years’ experience progressively responsible experience with database administration and database engineering
• 3+ years’ of strong experience in writing T-SQL in SQL Server database objects like stored procedures and triggers
• Expert in SQL queries, integrity constraints & indexing, database design/development, and database table design
• Proficient in ERP design, support, and maintenance highly preferred
• Proficient in data warehouse concepts and architectures
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or other data warehouse tools & technologies a huge plus
• Effective in both written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences
• Positive, problem-solving attitude

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend and move about the office
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks, and expansive analysis and reading.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds infrequently
