Job Description
Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday (30 hours a week)
Locations: Austin, Buda, and Del Valle

After School Site Manager

What We Offer:

Our year-round Site Managers can earn more as well as Health Care Benefits when they work at least 30 hours weekly on a 12-month commitment. ($25,000 annually when working 10 months with us /$30,000 when working 12 months).

iKids U Central Texas, part of the rapidly growing iKids U national afterschool program, is growing and we want to work with YOU! We are looking for highly qualified and energetic team leaders, who are passionate about shaping young lives and managing a high-quality, thriving educational environment after the school day on elementary campuses.
We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager who is not only a skilled childcare teacher for older Pre-K to elementary-aged children, but also a leader. This role is perfect for someone who loves the challenge of managing a team and ensuring top-notch educational standards.

Site Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead, model, delegate, and coach team members to deliver engaging learning activities for pre-K and elementary-aged students.
  • Ensure compliance with Texas Rising Star and minimum standards for classroom settings.
  • Perform regular staff evaluations and foster a supportive team environment through collaborative communication.
  • Be the respectful leader youd like to follow yourself by leading with integrity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, children, school administrators, and the school community.
  • Manage sites school supplies efficiently (no purchasing responsibilities).
  • Attend weekly Site Manager leaders with your Site and Program Directors
  • Attend training sessions to maintain and go beyond minimum childcare standards.

Site Manager Requirements:
  • Our Site Managers are in charge of managing the program on-site and will have several years experience working in a setting with younger children (ages 3-12)
  • 1 year team leadership minimum in a school or afterschool setting
  • Display adept leadership and organizational competencies
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication proficiencies
  • Capable of both independent and collaborative work settings
  • CPR and First Aid certification or a willingness to attain certification
