Maleko Personnel is currently hiring Production System Lead worker 

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

A Production System Lead has mastered all basic production duties and completed additional training in preparation to perform as a lead technician on certain systems. The nature of all production positions involves repetitive motions for extended periods of time.

KEY DUTIES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Capable of performing all Production Technician III responsibilities

·         Oversee a team of production technicians to ensure production mixing/packaging goals are met

·         Identify areas of improvement in the process and report suggestions to management team

·         Ensure clean up and housekeeping duties are completed daily – All trash goes outside to the trash bins

·         Report any deviations or unusual occurrences to your Supervisor / Manager

·         Assist in providing all necessary on the job training to team members. This includes paperwork (batch records, logbooks, packaging cards) and physical work

·         Ensure all production technicians working on the systems are up to date on SOP/spec training

·         If unsupported by the Water Spider, when picking from the warehouse, all materials must be scanned before moving to/from system to/from warehouse locations in inventory system. When returning partial containers to the warehouse, they must be weighed or counted and require a barcode sticker representing the quantity to be put on the container

·         Complete minor equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Notify Supervisor and Maintenance for machine conditions that will not allow processing to continue

·         Report end of shift production activity on the systems you are responsible for by making sure all paperwork is completed accurately. This includes your verification of batch record data, logbook entries and your signature on packaging cards.

·         At the end of a campaign / batch. You are responsible for batch record completion, review and reconciliation. This needs to be done before starting the next new campaign / batch

·         Maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process so the production quality and quantity goals are met.

·         Set-up, changeover and maintain line equipment

·         Ensure all cGMP, safety and quality standards are met

·         As a System Lead be punctual, get here early, get your assignments from your supervisor and be ready for your team members when they arrive. Notify your supervisor of team members not meeting attendance expectations.

·         Functions as a team member within the department and organization

·         Perform any duties assigned to best serve the company

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         Two to four years of production experience or similar preferred

·         Two to three years of work experience preferred

·         Knowledge of safe work practices

·         Less than three safety infractions in the last 6 months

·         Less than three production infractions in the last 6 months

 

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING:

·         Forklift certification required

·         Certified on at least two mixing systems and three packaging systems

·         Certified on at least four products

·         High School diploma or GED preferred

 

ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:

·         Math skills.

·         Read/write English.

·         Operate various tools.

·         Ability to work in a team environment.

·         Work Hired shift:

·         Arrive to work on time and work entire shift as scheduled

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·         Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.

·         May be required to frequently lift up to 75 lbs.

·         Hand dexterity and strength.

·         Overtime is required, including weekends.

·         May be required to work a flexible schedule..

 

Shift:   6:00 am to 6:30 pm Friday to Sunday 

Pay rate :$19+ DOE
