Job Description

Join a GROWING team as a Hospitality Maintenance Engineer

Location: Florence, KY with responsibility for overseeing 9 hotel locations

360 Talent Avenue is currently seeking a  Hospitality Maintenance Engineer for a growing client in the Hospitality industry. This position will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of hotel properties -  managing a team of maintenance staff, developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency procedures, and overseeing all aspects of projects and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, experience in creating and implementing SOPs, and a proven track record of leading teams to deliver exceptional results.

 

This is a direct hire position with our client and does include travel.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee maintenance operations across 9 hotel locations, including building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
  • Project Manages all maintenance, repairs, replacements, renovations
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance activities, ensuring consistency and compliance across all properties.
  • Create and maintain emergency procedures and protocols to address safety and security issues, including fire, weather, and other emergencies.
  • Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functioning of hotel facilities and equipment.
  • Vendor management to include bids, supply ordering
  • Oversee hotel maintenance projects, including renovations, upgrades, and capital improvements, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Monitors properties throughout the year through detailed property walks/checklists/PM software to ensure budgeted and emergency capital needs are met.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in hotel maintenance management/engineering
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience in leading teams and managing multiple locations.
  • Excellent knowledge of PM,  building systems, mechanical equipment, and maintenance best practices.
  • Experience in creating and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency procedures.
  • Familiarity with codes/specifications; ability to read/translate blueprints, electrical diagrams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
