Accounting and Financial Manager Responsibilities

• Include month-end activities, forecasting the three financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flows), maintaining the P&L, and assisting with long-range planning.
• Perform variance analysis; identify and explain key drivers of actual vs budget and prior year variances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Perform financial analysis; conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability trends. Maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
• Assist in customer billing accounts, sales tax preparation and reporting. Track work order completion, generate invoices and track profitability and account/credit card account reconciliation. Oversee A/P and A/R activities.
• Analyze production costs and COGS.
• Perform continuous dashboard development.
• Support ERP system updates.

Accounting and Financial Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role;
• Quickbooks desktop experience
• Experience with P&L maintenance, budget forecasting, variance analysis on production, and revenue reports.
• Construction accounting experience with COGS knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills (Macros, PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Tech-savvy with databases and ERP systems.
• Diplomatic and proactive collaborator with strong communication
