Accounting Clerk at Ambit Chemical Technologies

Ambit Chemical Technologies, a leader in specialty chemical manufacturing, seeks a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our Gulfport team. Specializing in precision manufacturing and toll blending, we serve diverse industries with top-quality chemical solutions. Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
• Record, store, and analyze information using accounting software.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and maintain financial records.
• Prepare bank deposits and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience with MS Excel and QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary based on experience.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $14.00 - $20.00/hour.
