Job Description:

As a CMM Programmer and Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our manufactured parts. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and program our Zeiss Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) using Calypso software. A demonstration of proficiency in this area will be expected during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CMM Operation: Utilize the Zeiss CMM to conduct precise measurements of single linear dimensions and complete 5-axis parts.
2. Programming: Develop and optimize CMM measurement programs using Calypso software to ensure accurate and efficient inspection processes.
3. Quality Assurance: Perform thorough inspections of machined parts to verify compliance with specified requirements, including tolerances and quality standards.
4. Documentation: Record and maintain detailed inspection data and documentation, ensuring accuracy and traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
5. Collaboration: Communicate effectively with fellow team members to prioritize work tasks, share insights, and address any quality or production issues that may arise.

Requirements:

1. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in operating and programming Zeiss CMM equipment, with experience using Calypso software.
2. Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and precision in measurement techniques, with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies or defects.
3. Multitasking Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
