Job Description
A leading manufacturer of roofing materials is looking for a qualified Material Handler to join their 1st Shift team. If you have at least 2 years of Material Handler experience, a solid work history, and a passion for precision and efficiency, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will set up and run the machines accorsinf to the job specifications and read and follow written instructions and blueprints. This position requires strong math and mechanical skills, and a strong sence of responsibility and ownership.
It is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with a progressive company that values safety, temawork, respect, communication, and accountability. Employees love working there - in fact, may have been there for more than 20 years! This opportunity could grow into a creer!

1st Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Material Handler Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Steady work history
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and work orders.
Ability to perform simple mathematical equations, using a basic calculator and scales.
Basic PC skills and ability to utilize a warehouse management system preferred.
Forklift certified and experience operating a fork truck safely in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work as a team and has a positive attitude, good judgement and excellent time management skills.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Material Handler Duties:
Ability to work in high-noise areas abd wear appropriate hearing protection devices.
Ability to mount/dismount forklift using three points of contact (two hands and one foot.)
Manual material handling involving the need to grip, squeeze, and pinch.
The position requires the ability to regularly stand for long periods of time,
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift/push/pull/carry up to 50lbs.
