Revit or BIM Coordinator

We are seeking a Revit or BIM Coordinator to develop discipline plans and specifications for architectural projects throughout North America using our new, groundbreaking software platform, AI for MEP®.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the client, the MEP/FP/IT design teams, and other consultants to ensure the design is consistent with the client’s vision, to identify and resolve areas of conflict, to ensure a fully coordinated interdisciplinary design, and to ensure the design schedule is maintained.
• Participate in meetings and conference calls when necessary.
• Become familiar with the codes that are applicable to the project.

• Develop and maintain Schnackel Revit/BIM standards, protocols and execution plans.
• Coordinate and provide Revit/BIM drafting assistance/training to designers and engineers.
• Produce drawings consistent with instruction, guidelines, and CAD standards.
• Modify Architectural CAD/BIM files for use in MEP design drawings (clean-up, audit reference, troubleshoot).
• Prepare projects for client submissions.
• Coordinate with in-house AI Director for Revit/BIM automation development.
• Create and maintain Revit families.
• Provide regular Revit training and lead Revit discussion meetings.

What We Are Looking For:

• In possession of an Associate degree in Architectural Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting.
• Five or more years of AutoCAD and Revit/BIM experiences.
• Three or more years of Navisworks experience.
• Familiarity with MEP engineering and national CAD/BIM standards.
• Exceptional communication and organization skills, including ability to prioritize tasks and multitask.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently upon receiving necessary direction and information.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments coupled with a desire to work efficiently.
