Vendor Management Inventory Coordinator/Driver - Raleigh

Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) is an expert in industrial automation and electric motor solutions, with the benefit of full line electrical distribution. EECO provides a combination of capabilities not typical of distributors, including onsite assessment, performance evaluation, data driven recommendations, repair options, and supply chain optimization. We are seeking an experienced Driver familiar with Vendor Managed Inventory programs to assist us in further developing our market presence in Tidewater in support of the relationship based, value selling of EECO products and services.

Position Summary:

The VMI Inventory Coordinator/Driver is responsible for managing and replenishing inventory at customer locations. Through familiarity with our customer's organizations, product needs and processes, they will review and monitor account trends to forecast inventory needs. This is achieved directly by fostering and developing relationships with our customers via on-site deliveries.

Position Responsibilities:

• Frequently visits a pre-determined list of strategic customers that require Vendor Managed Inventory
• Ensures accuracy of orders, pricing and processing
• Timely communication with Sales Team and Product Service Representative
• Identifies opportunities to convert additional items to the Vendor Managed Inventory system
• Ensures timely inventory replenishment
• Process orders, provide customer confirmation of status and monitor delivery against commitments

Position Requirements:

• Previous Sales/Delivery experience (2-3 years)
• Previous Vendor Managed Inventory experience is a plus
• Currently holds badging for Government and Shipyard locations, specifically Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII).
• Technical competency in a broad range of industrial electrical components and systems preferred
• Strong communications skills (both written and oral)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
• Valid Driver's License with Excellent driving record
