Service Technician – Airport Advertising & Vending Services

Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)

Part-Time | On-Call | Onsite

Chandler and Campbelle Investment Group (CCD) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Service Technician to support airport advertising assets and vending operations at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). This is a part-time, on-call position suited for individuals who are flexible, self-motivated, and able to respond promptly to service needs in a dynamic airport environment.

This position supports both advertising installations and maintenance, as well as vending machine replenishment and dispatch service requests throughout the airport.

Position Responsibilities

The Service Technician will be responsible for replenishing vending machines with company-supplied products, responding to vending dispatch service calls, installing and maintaining airport advertising materials (including posters, display panels, and related assets), and completing assigned work orders within required service timelines. The technician will document completed work using company systems or mobile applications and communicate effectively with management regarding inventory levels, service concerns, and site conditions. The role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a secure airport setting.

Compensation

Standard service and advertising work is compensated at $30.00 per hour.

Vending dispatch service calls are compensated at $40.00 per hour.

Compensation varies based on the type of work performed.

Schedule

This is a part-time, on-call position. Work assignments are issued as operational needs arise. Candidates must be responsive and able to complete assigned work within established deadlines.

Qualifications

Candidates must have reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel to and from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport as required. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Basic mechanical aptitude and prior experience in vending, maintenance, facilities support, or advertising installation are preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to follow written instructions, complete required documentation, and obtain and maintain airport security credentials if required.
