AutoCAD Electrical/Mechanical Designer

Abcon Automation is growing and hiring a talented AutoCAD Electrical Designer to join our team!

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Familiarity with Industrial Controls
• Work as part of a design team developing custom control panels and displays from the concept point.
• Experience in developing Bill of Materials for Panel and Electrical Components.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs
• Design control systems utilizing any number of the following:
  • Control Panels
  • Motors
  • Limit/proximity switches
  • Pushbuttons
• Perform sizing calculations of electrical components.
• Perform work with high attention to detail and a priority for design and product quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
• Be Willing to Learn and Grow!

Education/Experience:

• An Associates Degree or Bachelors's Degree in a relevant field is preferred but not necessary
• Minimum 5 years of experience in AutoCAD Electrical
