Who You Are:
This position will be in Studio City, LA but you will be working closely with the team in Hyderabad and Canada through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and our software. It is important that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. We are a fast-paced company that is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking team members who will share our vision for the future and work collaboratively to accomplish Base8's goals. Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing and Sales to lead our marketing and sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and sales, as well as a proven track record of successfully managing and developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and traditional marketing channels
- Lead the sales team in developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Develop and manage relationships with key clients and partners
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Manage the marketing and sales budgets and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing and sales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and finance, to develop and execute integrated marketing and sales plans
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, thought leaders, and media outlets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing and sales effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in marketing and sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams
- Strong band and people management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of marketing and sales automation tools and technology
- Experience with B2B marketing and sales
- Experience with Technology/SaaS firms
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
