CenterLine Welding Products, a division of CenterLine (Windsor) Limited has an exciting opportunity to join our Service Team as we are actively recruiting for a Service Technician – Midwest USA Operations responsible for new installation commissioning support, customer service inquiries, maintenance, repairs, and product training on CenterLine equipment. Reporting to the Corporate Service Supervisor, the position is based out of the greater Detroit, Michigan area with the expectation of providing service support inclusive to the Midwest USA region.

What we’re looking for
- Installation, commissioning, and training activities on CenterLine Equipment within the region - Integrate, commission, and repair CenterLine equipment. Conduct training sessions for customers on their sites.
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, email, and customer site visits - Address customer concerns promptly and effectively through various forms of communication.
- Maintain a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction - Ensure ongoing satisfaction and positive customer relationships. Solve complex issues through teamwork and expertise sharing.
- Communicate daily service activities and complete daily service reports - Provide daily updates on service activities through service reports.
- Ability to travel with limited notice, including weekends and holidays when required to meet customer expectations.
- 40 hours/week guaranteed with the expectation of overtime as required.
What you need to succeed
- Trade (Electrical or Mechanical) certification required
- Machine / tool build experience required
- PLC programming experience preferred
- Knowledge of welding, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting an asset
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance an asset
- Ability to read, understand, interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical schematics, and blueprints required
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Strong computer skills: MS Office
- Eligible to cross all international borders as required
