IT Accounting & Treasury Business Solutions Partner

This role is a home/hybrid work schedule and based in Louisville, KY.

What the Role Is

The IT Accounting & Treasury Business Support Partner (BSP) is the primary interface between the Accounting & Treasury teams and our IT team. This role reports to the Director, IT Business Solutions and is responsible for gathering business requests as well as identifying opportunities for improvement in their client group areas. They are also responsible for managing and ensuring the execution of projects that deliver those improvements.

Heaven Hill uses IFS9 as our ERP system and is in the process of upgrading to IFS Cloud. Most Accounting & Treasury processes are executed through IFS in addition to satellite systems such as Concur, ADP and Pagero.

How You Will Spend Your Time?

• Drive digital mindset and implement process improvements and new technology in Accounting & Treasury
• Identify, define, and propose process improvement, digitization, integration to enterprise systems, automation opportunities, and reporting improvements in Accounting & Treasury
  1. Define business result improvements from these proposals, gain alignment from all stakeholders, and determine KPIs and other metrics that measure and validate impact
  2. Lead projects to deliver these proposals in alignment of IT architecture, security, and partner strategy
  3. Support IT (specifically SaaS) applications specific to Accounting & Treasury excluding IFS
  4. Manage Accounting & Treasury data analytics projects executed by IT Data Services team
  5. Support creation of automated Power BI and Power Query reports, dashboards, and visualization summaries for key stakeholders to easily understand and analyze results and trends in conjunction with the IT Data Services team
  6. Collaborate with Data Services team to execute projects and deliver on requests related to financial reporting from data cubes
• Support local IT needs and interface with other aspects of IT
• Communicate and forecast IT capabilities to business leaders to influence decision making and strategy
  1. Act as a single point of contact from IT for all Accounting & Treasury project inquiries and non-incident requests for support
  2. Prepare monthly updates for Accounting & Treasury leadership team on status of projects including timeline and risks
  3. Ensure feedback on IT organization and processes gets back to the right decision makers
• Partner with the IFS IT team including the IFS IT Finance Analyst and 3rd party resources to define, execute and deliver on improvements to Accounting & Treasury business processes
• Partner with IT BSP supporting FP&A to report to senior leadership on overall project outcomes delivered by IT to the Finance organization
• Partner with our Corporate Controller, VP of Treasury, and their teams to streamlines processes and improve on key metrics like time to close

Who You Are…

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting/Controlling
• Ability to identify, define and articulate the benefit and structure of process improvement and technology solutions from a business value perspective
• Self-starter: ability to progress tasks and projects with minimal oversight
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Accounting, enterprise solutions, financial reporting experience and process improvement skills
• Project Management skills (planning, tracking, KPI development)
• Strong communication and presentation skills focused on middle-management through executive leadership
• Experience with IFS ERP, SQL reporting and/or deploying SaaS solutions is a plus
• Ability to travel outside of local market <10% of the time
