Senior Scientist

Global Life Science Hub has a longstanding partnership with an innovative biotechnology company that is revolutionizing the field with its groundbreaking platform for real-time detection and analysis of biological molecules. This platform enables the swift identification and analysis of proteins, DNA, RNA, and Cells, opening new avenues for discovery and development.

In light of their expanding collaborations with esteemed pharma, biotech, and academic institutions, we are actively seeking a talented Senior Scientist to spearhead the development and commercialization of this cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and optimization of sample processing, bioconjugation, and surface chemistries, integrating these biochemical workflows into novel products.
• Effectively communicate research findings orally and in writing, engaging with both external commercial partners and internal stakeholders through presentations, conferences, white papers, and peer-reviewed publications.
• Collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams while also thriving as a strong scientific individual contributor, adapting adeptly to evolving project scopes and responsibilities.
• Keep abreast of relevant technologies and advancements in molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, and biosensors.
• Facilitate the dissemination of scientific results and progress across cross-disciplinary teams.
• Contribute actively to fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, and improvement within the organization.

Requirements:

• Master's or PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, molecular biology, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in bioconjugation to surfaces and a strong background in molecular genetics.
• Demonstrated ability in writing and presenting findings.
• Passion for collaborative work within a scientifically and technically diverse environment.
• Capacity to manage and pivot between multiple projects effectively.
