HVAC Mechanic / Sheet Metal Mechanic

We are currently looking for a full-time commercial HVAC Mechanic / Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. We want someone who is dependable, hardworking and capable of being a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining and repairing commercial ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty service.
• Meeting local HVAC codes
• Measuring, marking, cutting, bending, shaping, fitting and joining sheets of metal together.
• Fabricating, assembling, installing and repairing sheet metal products and structures, including ducts.
• Interpreting blueprints and technical manuals to determine requirements and dimensions.
• Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the HVAC or mechanical industry
• Certification/Professional license as required by the state
• Understanding of advanced principles of HVAC
• Proficient in reading schematics
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
