Job Description

Are you looking to establish a career with a greater purpose? Join our team as a Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist! You are essential to our company as you are the hands that put food on the table for families across New England.

Warehouse Fulfillment Specialists work independently in a fast-paced environment; selecting grocery, perishable, and freezer products; and preparing pallets for shipment to our independent retailers.

Starting wage $21/hr. Paid weekly. $24/hr on Sundays, $42/hr Fridays.
Overtime available after 8 hours.

Available shift: Sunday – Thursday, 12pm to completion (on average 8-10 hours), with the occasional 10am Friday shift.

* Safety is the top priority in our operations and requires commitment from all employees. We provide proper training in operating forklifts and pallet jacks. No prior experience required. *

Examples of duties you will perform include:

Safely operate electric pallet jacks, collecting product.
Inspect equipment daily and inform supervisor of any issues and concerns.
Build a stable pallet of product made up of a variety of shapes and sizes.
Read shipping orders to review products being selected.
Label customer orders and pallets to ensure proper delivery.
Work safely to prevent injury/damage to products.
Immediately report accidents, near misses, or property damage to supervisor.

The ideal candidate

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
This is a physical job, so you must be able to frequently lift 50-100lbs.
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
Attention to detail, accuracy in case selection.
Follow audio directions via a headset to locate product.
Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment, as low as -20°.

Associated Grocers of New England, Inc., was organized in February 1946 by an enterprising group of 18 Independent Retailers who resolved to form a company with greater purchasing power than they could realize individually. It first operated as New Hampshire Wholesale Grocers in an 18,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Concord, New Hampshire. From the start, these retailers recognized an opportunity to build upon their own mutual strength. It wasn't long until they changed the operating structure of the company to form a purchasing and distribution cooperative known as Associated Grocers of New England, Inc.

In 2006, the current, state of the art, 380,000 square foot Distribution Center constructed on 74 acres in Pembroke, New Hampshire became AG New England's home. The design of this new facility effectively doubled the capacity to expand and enhance product offerings. The property allows for future building expansion to upwards of 650,000 square feet.

This impressive facility offers retailers an expansive variety of products as well as retail support services such as advertising, marketing, merchandising, store design, equipment, bookkeeping and retail systems. A dedicated team of 300 plus employees services over 600 independent retailers in the six-state New England region and Upstate New York/Albany area.
