- The Quality Control Technician will ensure the quality of raw materials, in process products and finished goods.
- Perform required quality tests for raw materials and finished products while recording accurate data in a timely manner.
- Maintain, organize, and schedule raw material samples for testing and conduct appropriate evaluations.
- Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
- Responsible for monitoring and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Daily duties include the inspection of raw materials, monitoring production processes and the evaluation of finished products.
- Ensure that testing equipment is accurately calibrated and functioning properly.
- Monitor product weight, codes, labelling, and perform quality control checks and record data.
- Responsible for performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas required.
- Knowledge of quality control testing procedures, computer skills and Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus.
