Of Counsel or Part Time Probate Attorney

We are seeking an Of Counsel Or Part Time Probate Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions. This is opportunity to bring your business in, grow your practice and learn other practice areas.  Get paid on the amount of work  you do in our files while also keeping most of what you bring in.  There is an opportunity to work in other practice areas or just work on a part time basis for the Probate cases we have.  This position is what you want to make of it.  This is ideal for an experience attorney with a current book of business looking for support without required minimum work loads.  Or a junior attorney looking to create his/her own practice. 

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in Probate Courts around metro Atlanta
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on contested probate matters including Will contests, Guardianships/Conservatorships, Trust litigation.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

​​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Probate. No minimum is required but 2-5 years is preferred.
• Familiarity with various legal documents 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
