JOB DESCRIPTION

• Beanstalk Grounds Management (bgmcincy.com) needs a seasoned crew leader to lead and manage 1–4 person crew.
• Directly report to the General Manager, who directly reports to CEO.
• Crew Leaders need to an upstanding person who can give a great effort and expect & generate the same from their crew.
• Support your crew to deliver a quality job on time.
• Responsible for planning and executing landscape maintenance operations on assigned properties.
• Crew collectively performs quality grounds management services including mowing, trimming, litter pickup, debris blowing, weed control, winter maintenance, etc. 
• If you’re not perfect that’s ok. Tell us what you need to be trained in and we’ll get you trained the right way – we’ll discuss that in the interview and ongoingly after you’re hired.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Manage the entire scope of work for each site including job maintenance plan, materials, and manage required paperwork.
• Have a working knowledge and safely operate grounds maintenance equipment such as a stand-on mower, riding mower, push mower, string trimmer and other necessary hand tools.
• Drive a commercial vehicle, pull and reverse a trailer.
• Operate a plow / salt truck during the winter snow season.
• Communicate professionally and maintain long-term professional relationships with our clients and co-workers.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.
• Show Up for work when scheduled, put in a solid day of work.

JOB SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Ability to treat people the way you want to be treated – if you’re a jerk, go work someplace else.
• Be self-motivated, team-oriented and a quality a problem solver.
• Must be able and willing to work outside in all weather environments including heat, cold, rain, snow.

PRE-SCREEN

• Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:

• State driver’s license with a reasonably clean MVR is encouraged. May be required if needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Crew Leaders need to pass a drug test presently and ongoingly.
• One year of crew leader experience is strongly preferred but if you’re a qualified, motivated person we’re willing to invest in you with training.
• Must have a working knowledge of typical commercial mowing and plowing equipment.
• Must be able to move and / or lift up to 60 pounds.

PAY: $22 to $25 Starting Hourly Rate – depending on employer discretion
