Auction Car Drivers and Jumpers

Job Summery:

Are you looking for a cool part time gig? Do you love cars? This may be the job for you. We are looking for auction car drivers who are responsible for driving the cars on sale. Join our team to assist with Manheim Auctions where you get to drive for a living. 

Responsibilities on Site are: 

• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses while observing Auction driving rules and rules of the road and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principles.
• Line up and park vehicles correctly as directed by the supervisor or team leader, move vehicles as necessary, and locate" Lost" vehicles
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed
• If necessary, inflate tires and jump-start vehicles using a battery box and air tank
• Notify the supervisor when a vehicle is inoperative; notify the Service or Gas Truck Driver when the car is out of gas
• Assist customers (i.e., dealers, account representatives, rental agencies, etc.) and coworkers as needed
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such
• Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay rate starts at $15.00 for Drivers and $16.50 for Jumpers. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors . Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Work Schedule: 

Sale Day Drivers and Jumpers needed : Tuesdays : 7:30 AM - 12:00PM
 

Requirements: 

• Candidate must have a valid Drivers License and Car Insurance 
• All candidates are required to complete and pass 10 yr background check, Motor Vehicle Report, and Drug screen.
