Job Description
Qualifications:
Job Title: Food Services Coordinator
Location: U. S. Coast Guard Sector San Diego, San Diego, CA
Type of Job: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays
Duties:
- Manage and oversee food services operations at the USCG Guard Dining Facility (CGDF)
- Purchase food supplies and manage inventory
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu requirements
- Ensure proper stocking, serving, and replenishment of food line
- Clean and maintain dining facilities, equipment, and utensils.
- Perform cashier duties during mealtimes.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service management preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays as required.
