Special Education Teacher

Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS) is seeking a full time Special Education Teacher to provide school-based services for a local school district.

This is an ESY position for the month of August to support a student in home in Ardmore, PA. This is an older student who receives homebound services over the summer. He has diagnoses of ASD and ID. Monday through Friday, 8am - 2pm.

PDE Certification is required.

• Lending Library: PTS recognizes the additional expenses in providing evaluation for materials. We have an extensive library of testing tools and assessments for therapist to borrow as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing children's skills and learning requirements
• Designing Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with parents and school staff to track students progress
